Mail Handler – Postal Service

Mail Handlers support postal operations by moving and processing mail within facilities. Pay ranges from $15.25 to $22.47 per hour depending on location. The role is physically demanding, handling packages up to 70 pounds and containers up to 1,500 pounds.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sort mail from delivery vehicles and conveyors
- Deliver mail to other distribution areas, sometimes using forklifts
- Load and unload mail into processing containers
- Operate cancelling machines and other equipment
- Assist in supply and slip rooms
- Maintain professional appearance and uniform
